The HTC Desire Eye is the first smartphone of the market that include a front camera with BSI sensor of 13 megapixels. The firm thus offers equipment specifically designed for those who love selfies or self-portraits. It is made of high quality plastic and inside combine elements of high performance as a Full HD screen of 5.2 inches, 801 Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM and KitKat Android 4.4.4 with HTC Sense 6.0 user interface.
The
design of the smartphone is based on a unibody polycarbonate shell quality. In
principle, the model will be available in two two-tone colors. In addition to
the bright colors available, the case highlights the level of finish and
quality of materials used. The measurements of the device are 151.7 mm high and
73.8 mm wide. The thickness of the device is set to 8.5 mm and weight is 154
grams. The specifications contained water resistance, but less than a meter of
water for up to 30 minutes.
The
technical part is notable for introducing 13 megapixel camera on the front of
the HTC Desire EYE. With an aperture of f / 2.2 and wide angle lens of 22 mm,
this camera is specifically geared to those who turn to selfies regularly.
Also, HTC has opted to include a dual LED flash to capture self-portraits as
without difficulty in dark environments.
The
rear camera also features a 13 megapixel BSI sensor, but this time the opening
offers greater value to f / 2.0. The lens is wide-angle 28 mm and a whole is
capable of recording video Full HD the same way as the camera of the front.
Other benefits are the availability of HDR filter, facial recognition, screen
sharing, divided capture, melting faces, makeup, photo booth and more. An
important detail is that the smartphone has a physical button shot for
positions focusing and shooting.
The
remaining specifications of HTC Desire EYE are including a 5.2-inch multi-touch
screen and Full HD resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.3 GHz processor 801, 2GB
of RAM, storage system and 16 GB internal microSD card support up to 128 GB,
support 4G and 2400 mAh battery. The software part of the model comes with
Android 4.4.4 KitKat and graphical interface HTC Sense 6.0. Soon, HTC would
release the Android Lollipop update for the HTC Desire Eye but exact date of
release is not yet confirmed and no doubt, this would increase the
functionality of present device.
HTC
Desire Eye is new category device or revolution with the camera specifications,
but it wouldn’t end here. HTC would of course implement in other high-end
specifications, may be HTC would launch another HTC Desire EYE 2 smartphone or
the same would be implemented in the HTC One M9 or in the HTC One M10, but question remains the same, as
there is no official information present. But within couple of months, these
devices would be launched and everything would be clear.
