2014 has been an eventful year for smartphones. Most
flagship smartphones have been upgraded to better displays – typically, a QHD
or 2K display. The higher resolution resulted in more pixel density and crystal
clear clarity. Apart from that, there were different factors like faster
processors, multi core GPU etc. All of these resulted in
better graphics processing as well – so as a whole, all the 2014 flagship
smartphones turned into ultimate gaming and multimedia machines.
LG has been a primary manufacturer for introducing better
and newer technology through the last few years. The LG G3 had so many to
offer, it is still better than most smartphones in the market out there yet.
And now, according to many reliable rumors, LG G4 is going to feature the first
4K display on a smartphone ever; and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 follows by.
LG G4
4K Display
When the LG G3 was released, it was one of the first devices
to feature a 2K display. None of the counterparts had offered a display so high
in resolution by then; and nobody had found out the usefulness of putting a
display such higher spec in a smartphone. Now it all makes sense after few
months and LG has been proven right. Most probably they are going to keep all
the wheels spinning, and as a result we are about to experience the first
smartphone that comes with a 4K display.
About the dimensions, we haven’t received any accurate
information. Judging the leaks that reached our rumor-judging department
(there’s no such department in reality, though) we assume LG is going to keep
the display size at or below 5.7 inches. This fact also implies something very
important – that is, the LG G4 is going to be a direct competitor against the
Samsung Galaxy Note series.
Other aspects like better viewing angles, visibility in all
lighting conditions, minimal power consumption – are going to be primary
features for such an awesome display. LG G4 cases will come with device.
Hardware
Specification
Not just the display but the phone’s hardware configuration
is going to blow you away for sure. The phone would probably have the Qualcomm
Snapdragon 805 2.7 GHz octa-core. A Snapdragon 810 is least likely to be
equipped in the LG G4. Whatever the chipset is, there will be 64 bit
processing. A 4 GB RAM is most likely to accompany the processor and the
internal storage might be as high as 128 GB like the newest iPhones; the
external memory card slot would continue to be there as a sidekick memory
expansion option.
The cameras have to be market winners to make a grand entry
in the 2015 smartphone market. The megapixels aren’t really the issue, but the
camera features are. Manual controls are most required by the photography
enthusiasts, and better picture quality at less effort is desirable by the
youth. LG has to combine both these aspects in hardware and software level to
make a best camera. And LG G4 must be a good selfie camera to survive in the
market!
Summary
LG G4 would certainly be one best market winning smartphone
in 2015; that’s what we can confirm observing the last two year’s LG flagship
release configuration and pattern. However, there might still be few drawbacks
that we can’t confirm unless the phone comes out from the production line (loop whole for upcoming device LG G5).
