When is No Smoking Day
The No Smoking
Day is one of the annual health awareness days in United Kingdom. It is
campaigned on the second Wednesday of March by a charity organisation from UK
that goes by the same name. It will be celebrated on 11th of March
in 2015.
Smoking Kills
According to
American Lung Organisation, Nicotine, the primary drug of Tobacco hits the
central nervous system and gives the illusion to the smoker of being energized
for a short while. Smoking for a long term can damage the lungs. Illness as
coughing, Emphysema, Chronic Bronchitis are commonly found. Other than these,
smoking increases the risk of cataracts leading to poor eye sight and muscular
degeneration. Over time, continued smoking also weakens the sense of taste and
smell. Smoking is more harmful for women as it reduces the chances of getting
pregnant. It also affects the baby’s health prior and post birth.
Do not Quit quitting with Quit methods
One year of
quitting the habit of smoking can reduce
your risk to cardiovascular diseases. There are several alternate products in
the market which can help you make this herculean task easier to master. Nasal
sprays, Lozenges, Inhalators, Patches, Gum and Microtabs are available by
several commercial names.

strongest dose of nicotine and most effective in helping one to quit.

nicotine and keeps your mouth occupied.
